  • A wonderful film accurately telling a true story.

Mark Stanley (Game of Thrones, Broken, Dark River, White House Farm) at his brilliant best, as he leads a superb cast to sensitively portray the true life story life of David Tait, who, having suffered appalling sexual abuse as a child went on to be a successful city broker, mountaineer and most relevantly a leading fund raiser for the NSPCC. The film follows David Tait's life from it's earliest beginnings and was shot in South Africa and London. Stanley's challenging roll explores the complexities of Tait's character, his cut and thrust business life and his volatile and complicated relationships with his parents and the women in his life. A hard hitting story, fascinating and in parts deeply disturbing. A film to leave you with a lasting impression and definitely one for your collection.
