Great headset ,bit of fiddle ,,, u will need to boost the mic
i made the mistake of watching YouTube reviews ,,,,,,,,, not one of them mentioned that the headset is shipped with a faulty mic that is set 5dl low and in some apps like discord and OBS, the mic has to be boosted bringing a lot a background nose with it ,,,, if u google hs80 low mic ,,, the corsair forum has pages full of it and other problems ,,,,, adding the dolby app makes the mic use auto gain ,,,, so im afraid its good mic sound or good headset sound u can not have both ,,,,,,with ICUE software ,,, its sometimes hit and miss or full firmware over write ,,,,, when u plug it in though wired mode u have to get windows to use that as default ,,,so when u charge it , it will cut wireless off ,, other wise its stuck in wireless mode while charging and affects the life of the battery ,,, its a good head set , just a bit fiddly but once set up and u know its wayss,, then ul have a good headset ,,,,,FYI the hs70 has better speakers and bass ,,,, is it worth the money?? nope .. .but neither is an apple but people still get emm,,,,,the out side is built well but that wire will break after number of twists so tape it still and i guarantee u the battery will die before the headset does :) is it nice on your head ? ,, YES !!!!! hardly notice it :) ,,,,, so far ive had 16 hours out of the batt and that it pure gaming with comms at 40% volume,,,,,,,so if u want it and u are set on it then get it !!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
