In the first series of Poh & Co. viewers experienced Poh and hubby Jono transforming their somewhat disastrous quarter acre block in the Adelaide suburbs, into a beautiful, edible garden. Then, Poh and Jono joined forces with ex-husband Matt, and his wife and Pohs best friend Sara, to set up a stall at the Adelaide Farmers Market. Incredibly, for first time gardeners, the edible garden was a success and the market stall made a profit! It was a busy, crazy, fun year full of friendship, love and great food. But if you thought that was a big year, just wait till you see what Poh & Co. have in store for this year! In Series 2 - Poh & Co. expands that humble market stall into a five tent food extravaganza, serving everything from colourful paella to yummy cakes and diet busting pastries, much of which is prepared in their newly leased industrial kitchen! Another big step in itself for our foodie fab four! Also in this fresh new series, Poh realizes a long-term dream and opens a cafe at the Adelaide Central Markets. Itll be a major challenge on all fronts, winning over customers, gaining the acceptance of the old time traders and simply keeping her tasty dream alive financially! And as if all this isnt enough, Poh and Sara decide to develop a range of rather eccentric designer ice cream flavours including Pohs cherry springer and Pohs fudgy smuggler. But will the venture be a success or receive the cold shoulder from fussy ice cream lovers? In this all new series Poh will again embrace her eclectic circle of family and friends. Her mum Christina, will be back preparing her famous Asam Laksa. Pohs dad and roller shutter salesman extraordinaire Steven and of course Aunty Kim are also part of the news series. As are Pohs lovable rascal mates, Scottie dogs Rhino and Tim. In her free time Poh embarks on a few culinary adventures too, including a fishing trip with her mate Andre Ursini, which results in a seafood salad cook-off and a road trip with hubby Jono in a house on wheels to explore the magnificent Flinders Ranges.
