Thoroughly enjoyable comedy-Western starring Robert Taylor as Bushroy Gentry, an 18th-century trapper making his way to Canada. He finds himself becoming the hunted, however, when he meets the equally sharp-shooting Mary Stuart Cherne, who falls in love with him. She determines to win his hand in marriage, and her ambition is matched by her oafish father, Cadmus Cherne. He's keen to see that she gets what she wants, even if he's as much a hindrance as a help.
