One of the most notable features of the Dyson AM09 Hot+Cool Jet Focus Fan Heater is how safe it is to use. As a tower fan and heater, it has no spinning blades or exposed heating elements, which means it is completely safe to have in homes with young children and pets. In addition, if the device is tipped over, it shuts off automatically. The Dyson AM09 projects cooled or heated air in a wide arc, with the coverage extending to as much as 90 degrees from either side of the device. In heat mode, it delivers even room heating in a matter of moments while the fan offers efficient cooling. The temperature settings range from 33 degrees Fahrenheit to 99 degrees Fahrenheit. Cools in Summer, heats in Winter. Can't live without it now.
Dyson makes some wonderful products, and this is one of them. It is a great cooling fan during Summer months, and in Winter will warm and keep a room at a fixed temperature. Once you have one of these, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it. I ended up buying a second one to take into my office, and I freeze in the Winter. Prime Time Price, But Not Ready For Prime Time Fan
Good: -Quality product had me excited. -Size was perfect, over half the size of my old tower fan. -I could put it in a small out of the way area. -Oscillates with no chatter or noise. Not So Good: -Fan is noisy! At #9 speed, it is 64db -Old tower fan was at 15ft, Dyson fan is at 12ft. but only a fraction of air gets to me compared to old cheapie tower fan. So much for this newfangled blade system. -At #7 setting, you have to start compensating for fan noise by raising TV volume. So before you know it, now this room is very noisy. I have tinnitus and want to keep what's left of my hearing for as long as possible, so this fan isn't going to cut it. I could use it in a spare room, but would rather buy a $49 Costco fan for that, instead of this $240 overpriced unit that doesn't perform as well as the $49 fan. -I waited years to buy a Dyson product, because of the prohibitive price. After this experience, I'll go back to the cheaper units, as when they malfunction you just toss them, and buy another. When Your Hot you're Hot..When you're Not you're Not

Dyson Fan/heater
We have had these fan/heaters before but when we moved 2 years ago and the disappeared. We loved them but the newer one seem to blow a lot stronger fan. Our heater doesn't quiet warm the living room so we decided to buy another Dyson. After it came in my husband wanted another one to replace the fan in the bedroom because of the size.
