While it isn't quite what I had expected. This is a good introductory book for young readers. It will serve the purpose in some ways. It will also be a good introductory book for my great grandson when he's old enough. I'm in my seventies : so most of the content is material I'm familiar with. My Grandson is a big middle ages fan. It may be too basic for him; but I think it will be good for him to read to my Great Grandson. \
