IMO the best tablet ever made
5 years old & will still give most tablets a run for their money. Solid build with plenty of power to do most things users do with tablets, media & light to moderate games. Extremely pleased.
This was described as "very good", but the unit I got would have to be described as "Excellent", it's physically perfect. Battery life is seemingly like new. I got this to use for an offline-app GPS chart plotter on my sailboat, it's working perfectly. Using "MX Mariner" with downloaded NOAA charts (free), I have a nice GPS charting backup to my onboard Garmin unit that cost $45, plus $10 for the very robust "Poetic" bumper - skin sleeve.

Awesome sauce
This is the second ASUS Nexus 7 I've owned. The first one lasted 7 years and I only replaced it because after the 2 drops into the bathtub and one into the toilet and a couple of trips down the stairs, it finally gave up. It still worked, but with the cracked screen, it didn't work well enough anymore. I bought a used one in excellent condition for $50 and this time I got a case for it as well. Did not like it at all.

Excellent tablet
I had a 1st generation Nexus 7 that eventually died. Tried two others as replacement before deciding to go back and get this one. Am glad I did, as it still performs very well for my needs.
