If in doubt, swap it out
My Range Rover P38 would surfer occasional misfires and seem to lose power under load (up hills at motorway speeds) and no amount of fettling would fix it. I finally decided to swap out the coil pack for the elimination of doubt and opted for this one based on brand and price. The build quality is solid and the price is great. It can be fitted without removing any other engine parts and is a direct replacement for the OEM part. Performance is where it matters though, and this performs in spades. Idling was immediately smoother and the engine more responsive. On the road, the vehicle just feels livelier; more eager; it’s pulling like a train now, up hill and down dale. It’s transformed! Wish I’d fitted this sooner. After 25 years of use it’s not surprising the old coil pack had lost a little pizzazz. Do your engine a favour and give it a new spark. It’ll thank you for it.
