Mahle Air Filters (LX708 Model Or Alternatives)
Have installed many Mahle components over the years to my vehicles including their air filters. MAHLE air filters purchased have always been well manufactured, good moulding around the rubber silicone seal and the filter paper has always been evenly distributed across the filter with no unusual gaps or abnormalities. Cannot speak to the quality of the filter paper, however given Mahle are a leading supplier of components to some of the heavy hitting vehicle manufacturers, which have in house testing facilities the quality must reach a consistent and reliably effective threshold. All in all I have no hesitation in recommending Mahle products, having fitted this manufacturers various parts available to my vehicles for over 25 years, and whilst only ever having to return one part for replacement a lower wishbone balljoint in that time.

Air Filter Doubts
Bought this after it had good reviews on a Skoda website,personally I prefer the same item produced by Mann ltd. The Mahle was made in Turkey & the overall quality was not on the same level as the Mann!!!!!
