Old pads looked like there was lots of life left, but............
I have a very low mileage car, owned from new, and have told service agent on the last two services, that the brakes weren't up to much for a performance car. The pads ( original ) looked in good shape and they only suggested new pads and discs up front end, for vast amounts of money, as a fix. So I ordered a new set of Mintex pads for the front & changed them myself. There was a slight improvement, so I changed the pads at the rear myself, and now the pads are getting bedded in, there is great improvement, for less than half the cost of what I was quoted from the dealer, to change front discs & pads alone.
