Quality top spec battery at great price
Top spec AGM battery replacing original which was starting to fail after 10 years - 75Ah replaced 68Ah battery at a very good price. First sign battery was failing - stop start feature wasn't working, Short car journeys charged battery but it didn't hold the charge - after 3 short journeys, car would struggle to start. As per listing, contact seller to confirm battery is suitable by providing them car reg number. They confirmed and delivered next day. long term review . unreliable
i brought this battery 11 months ago and i gave it a glowing review cos it worked perfectly but 11 months on and it let me down while fishing in the middle of nowhere , i have had it checked out and it is faulty and needs replacing . this battery may be good for petrol engine cars but it doesn't seem to last on a stop start diesel nissan xtrail and because it is brought through ebay its not so easy to get anything done about it so i have brought a new battery from a local dealer , just in case , in my opinion if you have a diesel stop start vehicle dont buy this battery !!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

always go for varta

Bought my car from a dealerships in Glasgow 3 years ago Henry Skoda there was a varta battery installed as it was a start stop model. Which didn’t really work that well and then recently my reversing sensors started to say they where faulty . Now I have another dealership look at car under warranty and said the battery was fine and guess what it wasn’t and even though the battery is covered under warranty it can’t get fixed at the moment because no garage are open. But replaced the battery with an new varta battery and guess what everything works fine the way it should be! AGM is the replacement for EFB
Needed a new battery on my Golf R estate 2020 as the original EFB battery that came with the car was failing (20 months) & original battery not lasting, talk about a cheap saving from VW as these cars should come with an AGM battery from the factory but they don't! So new Varta AGM arrived 2 days later, fitted & coded to my Golf R & everything is working like a charm, especially my start/stop as on the original battery the start/stop would not work & kept saying power consumption to high. The only thing is the new battery didn't come with a BEM code/sticker but I managed to sort this out by just changing the coding of the serial number, the battery AH & battery manufacture, job done.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
