Mintex Fitting kit review
Firstly, the location springs were longer than the original ones such that when fitted they were fully compressed allowing the brake shoes inadequate freedom of movement. I re-used the existing springs! Secondly the two pairs of longer tension springs had longer hooks than the originals which in practice made them extremely difficult to hook onto the brake shoes. I re-used the originals! In fact realistically the only items I was able to use were the four pegs! Luckily the pegs were the only items that really needed replacing on my vehicle as they were rusty and bent.
