I bought this hoping that I could connect the 4 wires with enclosed wire connectors. After loosing faith in my abilities, I tried local garages who agreed that it's easier to buy one with a plug on it for whatever make of car. So I am left with an O2 sensor that has 4 wires, instructions, and 4 wire-to-wire connectors.

This should not be listed as GENUINE but as UNIVERSAL
I searched for BMW E46 GENUINE O2 sensor and this is the product that i purchased...its not a GENUINE part but a UNIVERSAL part and should be clearly stated5 as such. It states on the instructions that come with it UNIVERSAL O2 sensor. With this product you will have to cut wires and join them via crimp connections as its a UNIVERSAL O2 sensor and can be fitted to multiple cars and NOT just a BMW E46.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
