ESP systems rely on the brakes to deliver their enhanced safety capability (independently of the driver) and therefore it is the brake fluid, which links the ESP system to the brakes.

    Comma Dot 4 Esp Brake and Clutch Hydraulic Fluid, special stuff.

    Brake fluid 'DOT 4 ESP' was recommended in the Haynes Workshop Manual for my BMW Mini, and Comma produced a product to that specification. It was installed into my car last week, and it works very well, and will be changed in two years time.
