INA are a major OEM supplier, but they seem to have reduced the quality of their products lately. This tensioner is the most recent example. The bearing is loose within the pulley, allowing the pulley to rock backwards and forwards. Fitting this to an engine is just asking for trouble,, as when tensioned the pulley would sit at an angle to the tensioner. The life of the bearing would be reduced considerably as a result. I am very disappointed with INA for producing such a poor product. The original 16 year old INA pulley/bearing has absolutely no play at all. The reduced quality of new INA parts highlights cost cutting at the expense of brand and product quality. Shame on the Schaeffler group.
Price was great but the bearing in the pulley wheel had too much play & caused wobble when spinning. Bought a replacement INA pulley from factors - same problem!
Refitted original pulley & aok
