    Fantastic bit of kit for your diesel X-type Jags!

    Absolutely outstanding product, I fitted this to my 2.0D 2008 X-type Jaguar and to say the car is now much quieter is an understatement. This item I believe comes with a 5 year warranty too. My Car always sounded slightly 'agricultural' to sat the least, being one of the early duratorq ford diesel engines, but having watched some videos on youtube and seeing what a difference an OAP can make both to the smooth running of the accessory drive belt in helping to extend the life of key components like pulleys and tensioners and also the added bonus of making the car quieter and apparently more fuel efficient too, I figured it was a no brainer to give it a try. Its probably some of the best money I have spent on upgrading my car to date and I highly recommend this to any diesel X-Type owner, it really is a must have upgrade to make your car that little bit more refined and classy. It's a servicable part so I won't hesitate to replace it in the future sometime if I still have the car, but as it comes with a 5 year warranty and the benefit of the famous 'german engineering' I'm hoping its not likely to fail anytime soon.

    Jaguar freewheeling pulley

    This fits Jaguar x-type and eliminates aux belt flapping at idle. Note. Both the 1.4 & 3mm washers need to be used to stop pulley catching on alternator casing.

    Mondeo rattle solved.

    After replacing my wrecked tensioner I discovered that there was a horrid rattle. After scouring forums I discovered that a lot of people eliminated this problem with one of these pulleys. I can confirm that it has worked for me and the car is running as it should. You will need to hacksaw/grind the collar at the base of the shaft off. 06 MK3 Mondeo 2l TDCI.

    Well engineered and so much quiter than the standard X-Type one

    After much Internet research on solving the noisy idle on my Jaguar X-Type 2.0d I bought one of these. There is a lip on the alternator that has to be removed with a saw/file but otherwise it is a direct replacement. The difference is fantastic and I would highly recommend this item.
