Fitted to 2014 Peugeot 308SW just before...
Fitted to 2014 Peugeot 308SW just before we went away for 22 days in our Motorhome so it only got a couple of short runs after fitting. Which was a task! Why do manufacturers now bury batteries behind other kit which has to be removed to swap the battery. Any way stop start, see you home lights now working again and Aux power stops on longer than 30 seconds as well which was the main reason to replace as the other two are handy but non essential to me but the Aux power auto shut off indicated to me that the battery might not survive another winter so I replaced it so as not to experience a total failure under starting load. Car started no problem after the 22 days standing idle and has had a good 80 mile run out since and all seems OK. On the plus side old battery is now in Motorhome as an additional power supply too standard leisure battery, we charge it up using a battery charger when on EHU to give us a bit longer off Grid, It ran 12V TV for over 36 hrs. It might not last long but it s a zero cost option whilst it does.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Superior quality
I've used Exide batteries in the past and always found them to have a longer service life than most other brands. The previous battery only lasted a year! and fully charged only had a standing voltage of 12.2 volts! I feel other brands use poor quality materials in their construction. Most batteries only seem to last 18 months to 2 years now. The last Exide battery I had lasted for 10 years!! Start stop battery for passat b7

Worth noting when removing old battery from vw Passat b7 and installing this new one you will get a light on the dash, this is the electronic steering light. Volvo S60 battery - good quality at low price
I was aprehensive as so much lower cost than Halfords equivalent, but is good quality and appears to be genuine. Delivery by Yodel perfect. The handbook says battery swap is straightforward and it was, if a little fiddly. It has been fitted for couple of weeks and is behaving faultlessly, including the start-stop, auto windows, alarm etc all fully functioning. Great value, great price, 4 yr warranty what more do you need. Oh and I didn't need one of those machines to hold the memory in the car,, it was only the clock that needed changing. The radio and everything else was fine. (Mini Cooper D, 2008) my stop-start still doesnt work but thats not the battery's fault it must be something else.
