I was looking to replace a rear wheel bearing for my renault. It seemed that there was a few variants so I rang the store. Git good advice and correctly advised that bearing replacement is not feasible unless you have serious press. Inserting the bearing can sometimes crack the hub and the whole thing is useless. I don’t have a press and replacing the full hub with bearing and magnetic slip ring is a doddle to any average diy mechanic. Bit more expensive but saved time and inconvenience of going to my local garage to get it pressed. Sorted both sides within the hour. So less downtime and no issues with abs. Worth noting that plenty of permutations with this job. Two disc diameter 160 or 174mm. Then options of with bearing and with magnetic slip ring so read the information carefully. Normally good practice to replace brake pads and a handbrake rewinding tool to wind the brake piston back in will be required. But all very straightforward and now the only growling in the back is from the dog! Read full review
