These ear plugs are effective at shutting 90% of noise out. I managed to sleep on an overnight flight with them in, something I have never managed to do before, having tried other earplugs. Sadly, doesn't last long and doesn't really help in the swimming pool
I bought these in order to avoid getting my ear-tunnel wet during swimming. during the first time I went swimming with the ear-plugs it wasn't really comfortable, but at least my ears were almost completely dry at the end. the uncomfort disturbed me a little bit in my swimming. The next time I tried using the same ear-plugs I got a lot of water in my ear and it didn't work well anymore ( on the box it says it should be good for five times more or less) . quite disappointing :/Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Reliable comfort
I don't know how I managed without these soft silicone earplugs! Noisy plumbing frequently woke me up ahead of my alarm clock and I wasn't able to get my full quota of sleep. I didn't want to use earplugs that went into the ear canal as I found them quite uncomfortable, so I decided to try Mack's Pillowsoft Mouldable Silicone Earplugs, and I wouldn't be without them now! They are so easy to mould to the shape of your outer ear, and once placed they block out a substantial degree of noise from the likes of car alarms, road works and traffic, and (if you're not a dawn chorus lover) squawking birds! I would say they would be ideal for night-shift workers, too. These little earplugs are non-irritating, they are very comfortable, and they are very good value for money. Quieter nights!

Does the job
Took a bit of perseverance to work out how to fit these properly but managed eventually. Once figured it out they create an air tight seal helping to dull out any sounds. You can still hear some things such as doors opening and shutting but they dull out noises such as soft conversation. Reasonably comfy to sleep on. Again took a bit of getting used to. Better than foam plugs
Always wear foam earplugs but seem to get itchy dry earholes so tried these on recommendation and so much better also block out lot more sound. easy to use and comfortable

Not as good as Quies wax earplugs
Decided to give these a try believing they lasted longer than wax earplugs. Found they get very grubby very quickly, lose there stickiness and fail to block as much sound as the quies wax earplugs.
