Well made an powerful with the bonus of lighting when grinding
For a relatively cheap bench grinder it's very well made, With no vibration at all. Comes with slow start motor, so starts smoothly an has plenty of power with it's 250watt motor. Worth paying the little extra compared to the 125 an 150watts bench grinders out there. I have not yet mounted on my bench tried it out on the coffee table before fitting an is totally smooth without vibration. Sorted out one of my chisels easily. Good machine but need tuning.
In my opinion the grinder will do to sharpen small drills and the like. The shaft shoulders are short and the outer washer floats beyond it making it hard to balance. Thinner stones would fix this. Heavy vibration at first caused by slack inner guard screws and outer washer float. Tested motor with no stones and was fine. I will order thinner stones and tune up. Still some vibration after stones were dressed but I like to see a well balanced machine and the outer washers are floating and trial and error needed to get close. ALL bench grinders need to be tuned. This is a small hobby grinder but will last for years if looked after.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Dont know were to start with this as its just not possible to make this good of a tool for £30 inc delivery. The box it comes in is really nice and thick cardboard with the grinder protected in polystyrene. The tool rest and guards are simple to assemble and the led lights are battery packs and really light up the wheels good. A course and fine stone are fit and perfect for general use. The grinder can be held securely by 4 holes in its base which i have used with 6mm bolts. It runs at a good speed with little vibration. Cant praise it enough and for £30 its virtually stealing it. A catalogue is in the box showing all the other products by lumberjack which all look equally as good.... buy 1 you will not regret it fantastic value for money 5 stars all round.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
