Pin spanner - yes. Strong - no.
I'm quite a fan of Silverline tools and so it was most disappointing to find that this replacement pin spanner for my Silverline Angle grinder bent the first time I tried to use it. Using just manual force I found that one if the pins became bent and so the spanner slipped of the nut. The more I tried to straighten it back the more it bent until the pin itself is now loose in the socket. I'm sorry guys, but it is not a STRONG pin spanner. The original one that came with the machine was much better - unfortunately I can't find it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight and not strong enough

too soft
On the good side it came quickly and the pins fitted. However, I bent it without slackening the nut - just with hand pressure. Eventually I found a piece of steel bar the right diameter, bent it into a u shape and put a screwdriver through it to turn the nut.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
