Good quality ,but over priced.
The quality of this item is very good .I presume it is made of stainless steel and is a replica of the plastic nut screw that came with the cafetiere. In my opinion ,Bodum should supply the metal screw nut in the first place. I feel this simple nut will be produced on a cnc lathe in no time ,and so I do not understand why it is so expensive.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Solves the problem
Those little plastic bits on cafetières so are always losing their grip. These metal ones fix the problem perfectly and will not perish. I do feel that they are quite expensive. I bought two and they fit any coffee cafetière so will be used on many different pots and will last a very long time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheaper Alternative to Bodum
