Great hinges for IKEA's Garage-Door style cabinet fronts.
These hinges are some of the more expensive hinges in the IKEA kitchen cabinetry lineup, and with good reason. They are so worth it! These are for the garage-door style cabinet doors, which are far more reliable and sturdy than the doors that open conventionally. In the past, we have had IKEA cabinets that start to sag and do not line up properly when closed-and become increasingly difficult to close over time. Sadly, these cabinet fronts are beautiful, but start to leave us with feelings they were not well made. The garage-door style that opens from bottom to top, are the ultimate solution, and these have changed our minds altogether, regarding the quality of IKEA cabinet doors. These hinges are the key to the major improvement, and we love them. In the style of tiny homes, and streamline, modern homes, we use these cabinets in our bedroom instead of our kitchen. They have cured issues revolving around storage, and without these heavy-duty hinges, we would not be able to have these beautiful cabinets. We don't live near an IKEA, and drove several hours out of our way to pick up the initial group of products. The nice, but highly under qualified person assist us, insisted on correcting the number of hinges we needed, and left us quite short. If it weren't for these on e-Bay, we would have to drive another full day's trip to get them. Very good buy!
