I lent these to my mate who had a rounded off track rod end nut, he followed the instructions and the nut was quickly removed, they worked perfectly. Simply select the socket that is closest to the damaged nut you are trying to remove, place it on the nut and a sturdy couple of taps with a hammer then use your socket drive to undo the nut. The design of the socket bites into the damaged nut, it may not work all the time, but its worth having these to try, before other more extreme measures are taken.

I never normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case. Trying to remove 12 bolts on a jeep differential case I found a number of them so tight and rusted that I rounded off the heads trying to move them. I thought that I would have to take the jeep to a garage to have a nut welded to the offending bolts as is the normal technique. Instead I opted to try these instead- what a revelation. They seemed to just grip the bolts and each one came out no problem. Why didn’t I find these years ago. Brilliant

Did the job - eventd aually. The 3/8 drive was a bit too wimpy for the larger piece, but I welded an old socket on the end and it was perfect then.

I bought my removers to remove a cap screw that had rounded, using the product with my impact driver and it easily loosened the screw. Only issue is make sure you have the correct size especially for cap screws.
