Had a very tricky bolt to remove, took a couple of attempts using the different size bits and it worked perfectly.

There have been mixed reviews about this product. Sad to say mine is not a good one and in simple terms these bits did not work. But for a couple of quid I am not going to worry but if you are expecting great things then in my experience you will be disappointed. Using both hand held drill and power drill they failed to ream out the screw head and then turned the bit around and the extraction bit failed to bite so I was left with a totally unusable screw head. As I was trying to take off a letter box I ended up using a dremel type tool to cut away the plastic. Once I did this, and this again shows how poor this tool is, I was then able to remove the screw by hand as I got purchase on the bit of remaining plastic surrounding the screw head - so it wasn't in that tight. Going to keep them in my toolkit just in case .......... but I won't hold my breath.Read full review

I purchased this product when I needed to extract two worn bolts from the engine case covers of my motorbike. Having followed instructions on how to proceed using a YouTube video (no instructions or branded packaging came with the product!) I had high hopes of a good result - how wrong I was ! After having tried the most appropriately sized extractor (none were a good fit), the product failed entirely in extracting either of the affected bolts. In fact, I managed to extract the bolts by using a star tool that I already had hammered gently into the bolt so didn't need to buy this product in the end anyway. Unless you have a screw stuck in timber don't bother with this product !

When you buy a tool for 2 pounds, that is the amount of force required to break it, 2lbs. All 4 bits broke during the first use, and could not extract a single screw. Had to resort to other, more violent methods of extraction. If you buy these, just keep in mind, the only screws you will be extracting are from your kids toy car.

Unfortunately I made the mistake of making such purchase in order to remove snapped motorcycle exhaust stud hence searching YouTube upon various advice I whole heartedly bought immediately the extractor thread sheared off of almost all 4 extractor bits even at low torque and driving counter clockwise all info from YouTube as the packaging does not come with any further instruction for novices or D.I.Y self taught mechanics.....at the end I had to throw the set in the bin
