This egg cooker is perfect. I have made boiled, poached and omelettes. I scoop the poached eggs out with a knife no sticking to the poach rack at all although cleaning the residue off has to be scraped or scrubbed but easily done in the dishwasher. I bought this one over many others that you can buy online that are cheaper because this one looked more sturdy and it has an alarm that goes off when ready, the alarm is loud too which is a bonus. A very well made little cooker I am glad I paid that little bit extra for a great product.I am ordering another one for a Christmas gift. The boiled egg tray is plastic and the poached egg tray is metal all dishwasher proof.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not happy with egg poacher, eggs stick to tray! have used oil , butter, and fry spray to no avail. you just have to 'dig' them out! and then is hard to clean! the poacher was the main reason for buying! Delighted with this. Tried both boiled and poached and the eggs have been cooked exactly as I wanted. It is very simple to use and takes up very little space. As other reviews noted the markings on the measuring cup are very difficult to see, but with use one becomes more familiar with them. May take one or two attempts at getting the water level right for the way that you like your eggs, but that's no great inconvenience at all. Simple to use
This boiler and poacher could not be easier to use, just pour in the required amount of water based on soft, medium or hard and the number of eggs, place the eggs in and switch on. The buzzer sounds when it is cooked and they are ready to serve in only a few minutes. I lightly grease the poacher cups so the eggs slide out more easily.
