Poor new design
Unfortunately this broke the 1st time I used it. I had an older version that I used for many years with no problem. The old version had a long sturdy ridge running the full length of the underside used to clamp it to a workmate etc. The new version however has just two small clips on the bottom, one of which snapped off first time I used it. Very disappointed and wish they had not changed the design.

Don't buy it.
The box is flimsy and not particularly accurate. The clamping mechanism is poor. The saw is cheap, nasty and doesn't make a good cut. I am disappointed that Stanley would even market something this poor, given that they used to have a name synonymous with tool quality. I have managed to make it useable by modifying the box and using one of my better quality saws with it. The saw supplied has gone to scrap metal recycling. Could not recommend this to anyone.
