Nice Quality Item, better than I thought...

Nice Quality Item, better than I thought it would be, very useful for drilling straight and accurate holes when they are needed. Great use for my old 240v corded drill. Really glad I bought it and the vice is solid and really useful also.5 stars.

Not up to the Job, better spending a little more money on a pillar drill

I purchased this to do a project which required me drilling holes in some stainless steel metal. The stand didn't really clamp my drill properly and I found that the holding bolts threads sheered rendering the stand useless. I was a quarter of the way through my project when I gave up using the stand in the end and found that using the drill in my hand was easier to work with than the stand. I decided to invest in an all built in pillar drill which which cost me just under £50 from ebay was 1000's time better and drilled through the steel with ease. The stand which I hardly used will probably end up in the bin.

  • terrible build quality

For the price it really is what it is.. weak flimsy and completely no use for the job. The drill moves from side to side and the full structure bends forward when pulling the lever down to drill which means the drill bit does not drill straight or true. you would get a better finish by using your hands ... you get what you pay for? so id recommend buying a proper one and not this junk,

  • Flimsy

I am disappointed with this product, it is not very sturdy, I have replaced the main shaft with a solid bar also the main drilling section moves as I touch the part to be drilled. Terence Mott.
