NUX Mighty Lite BT MKII 3-Channel Bass Guitar Amplifier - Black/Red The Mighty Lite BT now reaches the mkII generation with this reinvented model, adding new features, modes and computer editing to an already winning formula, bringing a world of sonic possibilities to the guitar player in a compact and convenient package. Keeping with the desktop form factor and powered by 6 x AA batteries or optional 9V adaptor, the mkII adds a USB type-C port which can connect to a PC or Mac computer to edit settings using the Mighty Editor software. In addition, the Bluetooth connection enables wireless editing via the Mighty Amp app. Both software and app are free to download from www.nuxefx.com. Mighty Lite BT mkII also supports audio streaming over Bluetooth for backing tracks and a built-in drum.
This modelling Amp is expensive for what it offers. It would be cheaper to use an Irig and your mobile. At a price point of around £30 it would be good value.
Missing anyway of setting a specific beat frequency. Also No good on a bass guitar as it seams to hit resonance from an open A string. Internal circuitry appears to be just thrown in, which is about what you would expect from a Toy.
It is limited in terms of sound quality - inevitable with such a tiny speaker, range of operation - heavily dependent on Internet accessibility, battery life - non rechargeable, settings cannot be stored, etc.
Perhaps, I'm over critical at this price and if you only want a tiny, practise amp with some tempos and a bit of mobility. I should have bought the much larger, more expensive version. So, probably my fault.
