Effective and good value
I cut it into 1x12” strips and apply to top surface of the wooden steps of my permanent tree stands. The steps are pt 2x4 construction. If brand new wood I just make sure surface is clean and dry and above 60*F. If older wood with some mildew I wire brush and wipe clean before applying.
