Fret Crowning Tool with DIAMOND CONCAVE file. This is a diamond fret crowning file. A diamond file with a concave profile is mounted in shaped handle made of English Oak. An excellent finish results and a fully polished fret is quickly obtained by going through the sandpaper from coarse to fine grit: 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 2000 and finally 2500 grit - it's only a couple of rubs with each and when you use the spring steel strip to protect the fretboard then the paper glides across the surface of the fret and strip easily.

Quality tools.
Very good quality handmade tools. You can tell there's alot of pride goes into them. I have just started using them and they are very easy to use and come complete with instructions and everything u need for crowning, also come with instructions on looking after the tools. I'm an hgv driver and I am just learning about working on guitar set ups and repairs so I'm inexperienced in that respect, but having been brought up around trucks and garages all my life I know good quality tools when I see them and these are some of the finest examples I have seen. Would recommend to anyone.

Very nice quality
Excellent quality, clearly English oak (has that lovely fresh oak smell). Oiled too with is a nice touch. Recrowned a few frets and it did an excellent job, really easy to keep it nice and straight across the frets. Very ergonomic too, I’ve used cheap plastic ones before which really hurt my hand after a few frets. Lots of extra goodies included and instructions are a bonus too :)

A great crowning file at a great price
This is an amazing tool, the best I have ever used, and very reasonably priced. The handle is comfortable and a great design, making the job of crowning the frets easier and faster. I cannot express how impressed and happy I am with this file. It is GREAT. Much better than what I previously used.
