Great value coziness for the winter
Great value. A good option instead of setting a proper fire. Sometimes, especially during the work week it makes no sense for me to go to all the trouble and expense of setting a real fire. So, these are a great alternative. They last around 1.5 - 2 hours, just long enough for an evening in front of the tele with a glass of wine. It cheers up a gloomy winter's evening and helps me unwind after a stressful day. Easy to light, but don't expect to feel as warm as you would do with coals. Good flame burn for the first 30 minutes, less flames by 60 minutes, out by 90 minutes. Looks nice for fire effect/cosyness but not for extra heat. You can only use one at a time and no other fuel with it. I added a few briquettes just to see, but they did not light.
