Excellent sidearm
I held off on picking this one up for a long time because I thought the 'fabric-wrapped' handle seemed cheesy. In person however, it is smooth to the touch and not distracting at all. The hammer travel is fluid and the trigger is tight. It seems to shoot a little high, but the weight and power are both appealing factors. The Zombie Strike is boxier than its Rebelle cousin but they are both comfortable in the hand and extremely-well designed dart blasters. Hours of fun!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

As is, it is a great little blaster from Nerf. With actual hammer pull back action gives it a feel of a little bit more like a real pistol. 5 shot Single action revolver, but in Nerf blaster form
I didn't know this, but there are different qualities of this blaster. My nephew got this at Walmart for $7; there were different plastics used, no spring under the attachment lock in the rail, and the revolving mechanism didn't work all the time. This one I bought, though it is $15, revolves a lot better, for instance you can return the hammer softly without firing a dart and the revolving mechanism will still work, and there is a spring under the attachment lock in the attachment rail. I bought a metal hammer upgrade and fanning it is extremely fun, you feel like you're in a spaghetti western, though fanning isn't always perfect, you cannot do it extremely fast, I say at my fastest I could probably get all 5 shots off in a little over a second. I love that it works like a single action revolver, my only wish is that they came out with an updated version, 6 shots, a removable cylinder you can roulette and a more efficient/reliable revolving mechanism.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I got two of these.
They are great. I am amazed at how well these nerf guns work. I've been shooting at a wall clock all day. My thumbs are sore from the cocking. The Rapidstrike I got earlier this month was my favorite nerf blaster. Before that, it was the Disruptor. Now it is definitely these two hammershots. I still want a Rebelle Sweet Revenge because it is smaller and will fit a chest rig. I have 2 18 round magazines and have 2 more coming for the Rapidstrike. Better than the Strongarm
Where should I start. This blaster is great. You'll barely miss the 6th shot of a Maverick or Strongarm. You can dual wield, it's surprisingly strong and accurate and it looks cool as cuss. Great gun for gifts
I got this for my dad for Christmas because he's still quite a kid it seems sadly me too. I put this in the bottom of a Reese's box and layered the top in Reese's which are his favorite so he thinks he's getting an entire box for Christmas. He's either gonna be disappointed or more excite when he sees what it is. I of course unpackaged it and played around with it before wrapping it. probably the best nerf pistol
This blaster is amazing. The stock blaster shoots pretty hard on its own, but this blaster has amazing modding potential. All the screws are the same size, so it's quite easy to open up and paint.
