Simple and effective. And quick.
I wanted a simple printer that I could just plug my laptop into and it would print reliably every time. Previous printers have been so complicated that they wouldn't reliably work. I also use Linux operating systems rather than Windows or Mac, so that sometimes caused issues. This printer does the job. It works fine with Linux (I currently use Mint 18) - I just had to go to the website listed in the installation leaflet to download and install the driver. Now I can literally just switch it on, connect my computer to it via USB, and off it goes, and quickly. I haven't tried any of the wireless options as I can't be bothered and don't need them, so I can't comment on those, but if you use Linux and want something simple and fast, with good quality printing, I would recommend this. (Haven't had it long enough yet to comment on how long toner lasts etc.)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tricky set up but worth it

Good value, The free app makes WiFi reasonably easy to set up (you still need to be an expert to choose the correct printing device in Win10...) it's good once it's set up. Not tried the NFC printing. Nice to have one less Cat cable.
