Tea time
We make tea every day. Sometimes twice a day. We went through two of similar design but cheaply made Target quick-boil tea makers in the course of two years. Time to step up and try the Kitchen Aid. Most of our countertop appliances are KA. Found a great deal on eBay from lilo7542. (brand new, undisturbed factory packaging, shipped quickly) The mouth on the vessel is larger than the Target brand making it very easy to get inside and scrub the tea stain off the bottom. My only complaint for the device thus far is once the boil is complete and it reverts to steep/warmer mode, the unit switches off when the vessel is removed to pour. Not a really big deal but it would be nice if the device remained in warmer mode for an hour through several pours. It may have to do with the fact the temperature control is a mechanical lever. Not too big a deal. Replace the vessel, slide the lever off boil and hit the on-button. Repeat until the tea is gone. Overall, satisfied, and we'll see abut the longevity. Thanks, lilo7542!
