Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 32/64 on USB Drive has a few surprises
The new Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 32/64 Full Version on USB Drive, was delivered just as described. The installation from the USB version went smoothly over my 5 year old Windows 7, however, before installing I bought a new drive and cloned the old drive. The biggest surprise I found with the USB Drive version is that the USB Drive is a key, and it must remain in the USB port every time you restart the computer. If you remove it altogether, Windows will not restart. If you installed it from a front mounted USB 3.0 port, that key must remain in that port everytime you want to boot up windows. However, as I installed it over Windows 7, my Windows 7 is still available, as they greated a boot menu allowing me to boot up Windows 7 or use Windows 10. As my original PC from 2016, it came from Dell and had installed Fast Access Facial recognition software. Norton Utilities described that program as a high risk program, that should be removed. Maybe it was defective. I had disabled it on Windows 7, after a hospitalization when I was not recognizable by the software. The Fast Access facial recognition software was easy to remove from the PC. All the fears I had head about Windows 10 turn out to be unfouned, and I am happy with the newly installed product. Thank you.
