1987 Daisy Red Ryder
I bought a 35 year old Daisy Red Ryder as a gift, otherwise I'll d never pay that much for a Daisy bb gun, no matter how old it is. The example I purchased was in like new condition and was a collector's piece. Daisy bb guns are of decent quality for a young, first time shooter to learn the basics of firearm safety as well as function. And although the parts are not made from high quality materials, these guns tend to last for a very long time due to build quality. Or, they used to be anyway. If you want a Daisy bb gun, find one that was built in the USA. It will last for generations if taken care of properly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

DOES NOT SHOOT
I RECEIVED RIFLE AND READ INSTRUCTIONS......I WANTED TO SEE IT IT WORKED, SO I FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS..... COCKED THE LEVER, TOOK OFF SAFETY, AND I ATTEMPTED TO PULL TRIGGER......IT WOULD NOT FIRE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I THEREAFTER COCKED LEVER???? I HAD NOT PLACE ANY BB'S IN IT WHILE I DID ALL THIS(FOR SAFETY REASONS WHEN I FIRST COCKED LEVER I FELT IT ENGAGE.......BUT, AFTER THAT NOTHING.(NO TENSION BUILD UP ON ADDITIONAL ATTEMPTS TO COCK LEVER???????) The Red Ryder was listed on auction as "used" with original box and arrived minor scratches from prior use. Daisy Red Ryder BB gun
BB gun isn't exactly as advertised. The original had a loading chamber right under the barrel. This one loads on side of barrel. Otherwise it has the wood stock. In the 60s the stocks were plastic.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
