Powerful cleaning agent. Use with care.
This stuff cleans nearly everything but you have to treat it with respect. Wear gloves and eye protection too. One drop in the eye and it's hospital for you. It also scrubs the oil out of your hands, making them itch badly. Ammonia also stinks, so use in a well ventilated area or you might poison yourself. I keep my windows open and use a fan. I used this to clean my hob, doors, door handles, door frames, kitchen tiles, light switches, etc. It can be used neat or diluted 1:1 with tap water. Test a small unseen area first, since the ammonia can dissolve all kinds of grease, even some paints. It won't touch limnescale, but any form of grease will be gone. I used some to loosen grease in my oven by lust putting a tray inside and filling it. The fumes alone did the trick. Don't use near a naked flame or mix with bleach. You'll make poisonous gases. After all that cleaning I have a bottle and a half left.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not much evidence of ammonia!
I was suspicious when I took off the bottle cap and smelt ... nothing! I've used ammonia before and the smell is pungent but I could stick my nose right over this and breathe deeply without any problem. I count really detect any odour at all. If ammonia is the active ingredient in "Household Ammonia" then I don't think this is very active. It failed to clean my multi fuel stove glass of tar residue... something that previously bought "real" ammonia managed with ease. Not impressed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
