Price and need for hub says oy maybe
Bulb works well - as well as cheaper ones. Also the need for a hub a pain given hub range and that other bulbs usw wif. Have since ought cheaper bulbs that also colour chnage.I had the toop end Echo show so had built in hub but do you realy want yet another biit of hardware, a hub, or more than oneiVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not as good as thought
The bulb is fine but I thought as I paid more for it than smart life bulbs ,to name one of other makes,it would work as good or at least the same with echo dot. This bulb requires you also need a Phillips hue hub aswell or an echo plus to operate it with Alexa. This is not told you till you buy it and read instructions. Hue better look at this bulb....
A fab little bulb with a twist. This little beauty has a million colours to choose from. Don't be tempted by cheap limitations, they dont have the depth of colour.
