Disappointed
Although this item does pick up it is now a very strong grip so I find it drops things easily, I already had a similar one which I thought was weak so ordered this new one thinking it would be better, but in my opinion its weak. Sorry, so if anyone or this company knows a better one please let me know. Light, easy to operate and effective.
Weighs very little and no great effort needed to operate and pick up even moderately heavy things. With a little effort even 500g jars and cans can be lifted from floor level. The head also swivels 360 degrees in relation to the handle, so no need to twist your wrist in order to grab things in awkward to reach places. The built in magnets at the tip of the jaws also help with picking up things like pins or nails. I've even used it to pick up fallen fruit beneath my pear trees. I bought three to place around my house as my problem is bending or squatting down because of osteoarthritis in my knee and often have to pick up things ranging from socks to mail packets or envelopes on the doormat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent reavh and grab accessory for people who have permanent or temporary disabilities.
I bought this in advance of hip replacement surgery which as now been done and Im back at home. Great piece of kit that enables reaching items on the floor which would otherwise not be able to reach. To a degree helps with lower half dressing although socks are still a problem ( a furthet accessory is available for that purpose). The grabber will also be useful should I become less mobile.
