Best not to use first option (WPS) as you can't change the name, hence it will have the same name as your router and you won't know which you are connected to and makes swapping from one to the other impossible. Use a RJ45 cable to connect to a laptop then type 192.168.0.254 in your browser and the rest is a walk in the park. Not bad for the price.

Great Range extender, simple to use, had it all set up and working in under a minute!!! I used the WPS function with no problems at all. Gives a good Wifi signal to some of the dead areas in the house. Recommended Product!!!

Works fine, has made a big improvement. Not so easy to pair with hub tho.3 methods in the instructions, first 2 did not work, thankfully downloading the tether app to my phone did the trick.persevere and you will be happy.

Had mixed experiences with range extenders but this works mostly o/k. But if you change the SSID to that of the router there appears to be no automatic switching if you move around with your laptop or tablet. It will stick to the one you initially linked to. This is fine if you do not move around but maybe better to give it a different SSID (default) and re-link to that if you do move.

Highly recommended and easy to set up and use product. Either connect it by your pressing the WPS button on your router, followed by the WPS on the device itself, via an ethernet cable or by installing the TP-Link Tether app on your smartphone (I found this last option the easiest myself). Quickly extended a weak wi-fi signal from upstairs to downstairs to make it a strong signal for a downstairs smart TV, for instance. Highly recommended product on Ebay. A+++++++++++++++++++++
