Traps and kills flies efficiently
This was bought to help control flies in a field. Unfortunately it did not seem to attract the biting or sweat flies. It did however trap lots of blue and green bottles and flesh flies. The product also attracted wasps as well which was unfortunate as they are useful insects. Extremely easy to use. Just put the powder in the traps, add the water then hang up where you need it. It does have a smell to it so be careful where to hang. Within 24 hours there were flies in the trap and after a few weeks it was completely full. It can be re used which is a bonus. New Design that works well.
These are different to the traditional Red Top which are disposable whereas The Buzz can be used time and time again, buying additional sachets is easy and economical. Works excellent but sooo gross! lol
This fly trap is excellent. In only a few days there’s loads of them in there. We have definitely noticed a drastic reduction in the house. I hung it near the back door and have been watching it every day (even though it’s gross) to see how many have gone in. Some are swimming, some are flying around, even had a couple of wasps. After about a week, I was watching it, I noticed a smell coming from it when you get near enough so I moved it away a bit. It was in a shaded corner at the back of the house and there wasn’t much activity so moved it back to a brighter spot a bit nearer to the door and slightly higher up to avoid any smell and it’s busy again. So I guess it does matter where you hang it. I will definitely be buying these again. I wish I’d found them yonks ago!

Smell pretty awful.
I am very pleased that it does an excellent job, but the smell is it pretty awful, I had hoped to use it in my kitchen as I love to have my door open, and flies come in, I am now using it outside as I have rabbits who are prone to flystrike also my chickens. For 2 years I've brought these for at my mum's as her area keeps getting flies.. these are fantastic, hang on near your back door or window and I promise you won't get the horrid flies comes in your home. Also ideal if you have a child scared of flies. Conservatory God Send !!!
Having been plagued by disgusting Flies year upon year in our Conservatory iv finally found something that doesn’t cure it 100% but certainly helps You need to find the best position to put it..iv put mine right by the windows at either end and I don’t get anywhere near the amount that we did before Actually bought a couple more and put one outside the kitchen window... Does what it says it will do.
Good. Has been in use for 10 days. Attached to gutter of conservatory about 1.5 metres from the doorway. Took a couple of days to make any impact. Topped the water up after 1 week. It is now full of flies (about 2" deep) which would have normally entered the conservatory. Bad.
