Not like the NBA balls.
The ball seems to be authentic. It is different than i expected though. I have two authentic NBA game balls and the feel like plastic when new. This one feels less plastic but it doesn't absorb sweat the same as the NBA ones. I'm curious to see how it acts as is breaks in. One more odd thing is the ball feels smaller than the NBA one; just by a little bit. Still holding judgment until i've got 3-4 months of use. Great ball but it is not the official it is a china ball.
