Great product but very poor battery life !
Even after a 12 hour charge, my son is getting roughly a hour play time before it needs charging again. He’s had many electrical ride on devices and non seem to be this bad for battery life in past. Fast dizzy fun
5 year old nephew is well impressed. People record him going to school on it. His mum pops the front wheel in a wheeled rucksack with handle to scoot it home. So its fast and fun. We have had a few spills when clipping path edging, so id leave the flag off till they get those out the way or it might snap off if it tips over. I firmly believe when he can drive and slips in the ice he will know what to do now lol. Also we are upgrading it to lithium lifepo4 10ah for over twice the range. 5 miles is still good in my eyes. Make sure to charge it well before use to condition the battery and after every use. Leave it flat for a day or more and you degrade the capacity instantly as its lead acid. Not sure why people are moaning about only 1 hour runtime. Id expect 40 minutes as it says somewhere. Its a power hungry toy. So powerful he drags his mates behind in a sledge easily. Id recommend helmets etc. This has really manned him up and got him to put the ipad down! We put a cusion behind him to start with as hes small for his age but quickly managed without.
