Dimplex Optimist flame effect Electric Log fire
A bit expensive but the flame and smoke effect is so realistic, it looks like a real log fire. The "smoke" is produced by an ultrasonic device which produces a fine mist of water vapour similar to aromatherapy diffusera. The amber lights give the impression of realistic flames and random smoke just like a real log fire. A re-fillable water tank inside the fire supplies the water, and you can adjust the amount of "smoke" produced. It makes you feel cosy just having the effect on with no heat, but turning the fan heater on underneath the fire rapidly warms the room up. There are two heat outputs of 1KW and 2 KW, both with the adjustable thermostat so you can set your level of heating quite precisely. These controls including a master On/Off switch are hidden behind a flap in front of the imitation logs which you access by opening the front glass door. There is also a 3 button remote control so you can turn the fire on and0 off and select the heat levels and the flame/smoke effect fom your arm chair. All in all, the next best thing to a real log stove without the mess.Read full review

Authentic looking electric wood stove
Really life like electric stove. Brilliant price. Looks wonderful in my fireplace. Makes the room feel warm by just using the elimination. Didn’t chuck out heat though unless you have the heat setting on. Nice that you can have it on with or without the heat. It was delivered very quickly. One thing to note though. You have to have distilled water in it all the time or it doesn’t come on at all. You will have to shop around as it is pricey to buy. It does last a good while though depending on how long you have it on for. It will turn itself off if it runs out of water. You can’t use tap water or the limes ale will build up and ruin it. Saying all that it is well worth the extra cost as it really looks authentic. I would highly recommend buying from this seller too.

It’s brilliant, looks like a real fire and warms the house nicely! I’m just about to build a chimney breast (a stud breast) to house the stove to give the effect of a real stove fire place which I would highly recommend. It’s gonna be lit 🔥 🔥 🔥

Love my stove,
I purchased this stove recently. it was not so much needed for warming my home more for creating a fireplace and the ambience that comes with that, however, I love the stove it is the closest I have yet to see in an electric appliance & of course if I need more heat it will provide that.
