Good looking on the outside but very basly and messily design on the inside
The cabling from the front panel is a tangled mess and I am somewhat ashamed of the untidiness I have achieved. I've bought 2 Zalmans in the last 2 or 3 years and been well pleased with the tidiness of the design, so this was a disappointment. The 2 x 3.5 drive 'bays' are awkward to get to. A shelf, the purpose of which is not clear makes it a very fiddly job to plug front panel cables (PWR switch, reset etc.) onto their motherboard headers. Other cables are not adequately labelled, e.g. the fans are powered by an unmarked SATA plug more usually used for an HDD. This was hidden in the tangle of of wires - and I mean tangle! Altogther a disappointment after my 2 Zalman Z9 U3's were so very easy to work with but are unfortunately out of production.
