Superb balanced and quiet machine suitable for long periods of use
Can be used single handed and is very balanced and lightweight to hold. Handle is slim and weight is even distributed making it a pleasure to hold and use. The soft start is something I would not live without - this is my third metabo grinder in 30 years and 2 have had this soft start feature. Stops the machine lurching in your hand when it starts making it so much more controllable and safer in my opinion. Similarly the quick action disc lock means that faffing about with tools that you can never have to hand is a thing of the past. Finally the noise level - need to use ear defenders but after use you do not get that peaceful feeling and relief that you get after using cheap noisy motored units. This metabo unit is much more refined in noise output that it becomes comfortable to use for long periods of time.
