Dongle has a fixed IP address which cannot be changed
One major flaw with this product is that it has a fixed IP address of 192.168.1.1, I bought this not to use in a PC but to connect directly to my router for failover and load balancing and as most ISP providers use 192.168.1.x on their routers it causes a major issue. To get this to work with my router would mean I need to change the subnet I use for my home network and I am just not willing to do this because of one dongle, ended up buying a Huawei E3372 and it works great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Ageing, but a good 4G dongle.
Ageing but a good 4G dongle. I have used a number of these in my work for providing internet connections for onsite laptops where there is no wi-fi available. This time I wanted a 4G dongle that could plug into a Draytek router placed by an upstairs window to get a reasonable signal, to provide good internet connection via a LAN able to a computer located in a place surrounded with thick walls where even a dongle would not give a good connection. This worked and gave good steady connection. The instructions do not mention Windows 10 support (which dates it) but these do work fine on Windows 10.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
