Perfect for camping
Wanted a camping kettle that can be filled from the somewhere other than the spout. Folding handle means kettle takes up less storage space. Thin metal so boils quickly and also very light. Riveted areas look quite flimsy so not sure how long it will last.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't buy
After about 6 months this kettle has finally died - whistle melted. Lots of negatives. Handle flops down. Makes pouring difficult - also gets hot, plastic then cracks leaving metal which gets too hot to hold. Whistle stopped working - probably melted a bit - not a great idea to use plastic on a product which goes over a flame. Lots of negatives. Awful!
The handle melted first time i used it! Awful cheap quality not fit for purpose. Dangerous to use as the handle becomes so hot by the time the kettle has boiled you will literally burn yourself trying to pick it up. disgusting quality,not safe. no pictures attached as i am unable to do these things, and dont have anyone to do this .
in less than three days the spout cover melted, the handle melted, then plastic spout came off ,the whole kettle was thin... there was no markings on the base of any description, it arrive in its box with ons piece of tape holding it together, disgusting... cheap kettle 2 yrs later still using
what worked it boils water whistle is a strange noise and the handle is to flimsy for my liking will replace with a sturdier kettle asap dont buy this look for something of better quality is what i suggest, 25/5/22 we pressed the handle studs together firming up the folding handle movement and we are still using this kettle, so maybe i shouldnt of been so critical it was just the looseness of the handle that was off putting....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disappointing
Was ok for a short while then the plastic in the handle started to melt. The handle gets really hot so you need to use something to pick it up when it’s boiled - disappointing but not a major issue. The real issue was when the plastic on the whistle over the spout started melting around the spout. Nobody wants to drink something that’s been tainted by melting plastic which had adhered to the metal, and, of course, I couldn’t use the whistle any more!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
