I needed to replace my previous Dyson (V6). I decided to try this model, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Simple to use. You get a selection of nozzles and attachments. There are 3 power settings. The battery seems to be lasting quite well, although that will depend on the power setting you use. It charges in a reasonable time, around 3 hours to fully charge from flat. You also get a spare washable filter, so you can still use the vacuum cleaner whilst the filter is being washed and dried. It’s very easy to empty, doesn’t create a mess whilst doing so. It isn’t too noisy either. Only drawback is it is awkward to get into tight spaces with the crevice tool. Would be better if longer and flexible. I noticed this whilst trying to do around the seats in my car. No great issue though. There is no plastic packaging, they use paper and cardboard, so easy to recycle. All in all it’s an efficient and powerful cleaner. I’m happy to recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Another great Dyson product!
We bought this V10 Animal to replace our much older version (about 8 years old). It's really great and much more powerful than the old one. It's got a better battery life and it's also easier to empty. Comes with a two year Dyson warranty too. My husband was particularly pleased that the docking station has the holes in the same position as the old one, so he didn't have to drill any more holes in the kitchen wall! I like the fact that it sits in the docking station so neatly behind the kitchen door. It's easy to use and so portable around the house. Comes with several useful attachments too. Very pleased with it so far.

Great product
Although we are both happy with the Dyson V10, I am concerned with the warranty. The serial number is not accepted as correct when registering the cleaner. However, when I called the Dyson helpline they assured me all was okay, and that it’s registered. Then when I log onto ‘My Dyson’, there are no equipments registered!!! Furthermore, when I manually tried to register the V10, I am still informed that the serial number doesn’t exist! Not totally happy with this!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
